A word from the Municipal Manager
Hi and welcome! I'm Sami Hänninen, Municipal Manager of Johkula. Here the municipal income tax rate is 0.00 %, every child gets a free daycare place, building permits are processed in a single day and you can charge your electric car for free anywhere in Johkula. People often ask how that's possible. My answer is always the same: good planning, and building everything to work together. The coffee is always on at the municipal office.
Online services
- Book a space or sports slot – Johkula-talo festival hall, meeting rooms, Johkula Sports Hall, the lakeside hut and event equipment.
- Buy a ski bus ticket – single, day and week tickets for the winter season. Free for residents.
- Apply for a daycare place – free for everyone, two minutes to apply.
- Building permit – apply in the morning, decision the same day.
- Give feedback – we reply within five working days.
