Johku Teatteri is a theatre where villagers and professionals work together, creating new plays from Johkula's stories every year. In winter the shows are in the theatre hall of Johkula-talo and in summer at the Kotiniemi summer theatre, 2 km east of the village centre. Interval coffee is ordered with your ticket.
The Christmas play runs 28 Nov–20 Dec 2026, the winter play 22 Jan–27 Mar 2027 and the summer theatre 23 Jun–7 Aug 2027.
