Johku Ski is a family ski resort on Johku Fell, 8 km east of the village centre. It has 12 slopes with a 230 m vertical drop, lifts, a rental shop, a ski school, 20 slope-side apartments and the Fell Café at the top. Children learn to ski here, and more experienced skiers get the long East Slope and evening skiing.
The ski season is 28 Nov 2026–26 Apr 2027. The summer lift runs 27 Jun–9 Aug and the autumn colours lift 5–20 Sep. The slope-side apartments are open all year.
