Johkula-talo at Kirkkotie 4 is the municipal cultural centre and the village's party venue, with a 220-seat festival and theatre hall, the 14-person Kuikka meeting room, a lobby café and an exhibition space.
Festival hall
Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, concerts and seminars. Theatre seating for 220, banquet seating for 160. Stage, sound, lighting, projector and screen, plus a serving kitchen.
From November to April, Johku Teatteri performs its winter season in the hall, usually Thursday to Saturday. The hall cannot be rented on show nights, but other days are available, and the online calendar shows free dates.
Kuikka meeting room
A 14-person room with screen, meeting camera and coffee maker, opened with a door code sent in your confirmation.
Prices
Residents: festival hall €40/h or evening €180. Others: €70/h or €320. Kuikka €15/h for residents, €30/h for others.
