The municipality sells detached-house plots in the village, Koskikylä and on the shores of Lake Johku at €2–9/m² depending on location. Lakeside plots are always in demand, so they are drawn by lot twice a year, in March and September.

- Village, Kuusikonrinne: 6 plots, 1,200–1,600 m², utilities ready.
- Koskikylä, Koskentörmä: 4 plots, 2,000–2,500 m², view of the Johku River.
- Jänkälä: 3 rural plots, 5,000 m², own well and wastewater system.

- Johku Fell slope area detailed plan change: Johku Ski slope apartment extension.
- Village harbour detailed plan change: new boat berths and a walkway to Johku Sauna.
