Johku Huskies is a family-run kennel in Jänkälä, 12 km north of the village centre, home to about 60 Alaskan huskies. Each departure takes at most eight customer teams, and everyone gets to drive their own sled.
In winter (10 Dec–10 Apr) the teams run into the wilderness, in autumn they pull carts, and in summer you can visit the kennel or go hiking with the dogs.
