Social and health services are organised by the wellbeing services county. Johkula health centre and social services office are in the village, and the municipality works closely with the county to keep services close by in the winter season, when the population multiplies.
Johkula health centre
Kirkkotie 12, 00123 Johkula. Appointments Mon–Fri 8–16. In the winter season (Dec–Apr) there is also a visitor clinic Sat–Sun 10–16.
Urgent care
For urgent care call the medical helpline 116 117. In an emergency always call 112.
Dental clinic
At the health centre. Children's dental care is arranged with Johkula School during the school day.
Services for older people
Home care, assisted living at Päivärinne care home and day activities. The municipality also offers seniors a free gym session at Johkula Sports Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10–11.
