Johku Outdoor is a paddling and outdoor centre with two bases: the village harbour and the River base at the mouth of the Johku River, 1 km from Johku Resort. Kayaks, canoes and SUP boards are rented self-service with a door code from 7 to 23. There are also guided trips and courses, and tour skating in winter.
The business started when the paddling instructors got tired of hauling kayaks on a trailer. The paddling season is 25 May–30 Sep and tour skating runs January–March.
